In past years, we had a lucrative system of raising funds by charging Timbers and Thorns fans for parking at Lincoln lots during games. Through those fundraising efforts, led by our dedicated team of booster parents and student volunteers, we had a reliable source of income for the music programs. But when the old Lincoln building was demolished, we lost that space, and it isn't clear yet whether we will get that back. Now we need to get creative and find other ways to build up our reserves. Through coffee sales, silent auctions and concession sales, we're working to raise funds. Your donations make a big difference.

Gifts to the music program provide support for things such as:

• Scholarship fund to help pay for field trips and competitions

• Guest instructors and clinicians

• Uniforms, instrument and equipment maintenance

• Transportation

• Trips and events

 

We know you receive many requests during the school year, and we hope you will consider making a donation to LHS Music. Whether your scholar participates in choir, FLI band, jazz ensemble, symphonic band or guitar lab — our teachers offer them an outstanding education, and your support helps keep the program strong. We think you'll agree that music is an essential part of the high school experience.
